1.) Ahhhhh the power is back. Happiness abounds. All is well. It was terribly scary (the non-stop sounds and what you imagine while hearing those sounds – from the howling winds – but not that normal wind howl, you know? The creaking, the distant booms and the too-close thuds).
2.) We had no idea what to expect (the second half of the storm, after the eye passed over us was soooo much worse and incessant than the first half). But… we made it!!! We had some damage (like our big palm tree that fell but thankfully away from the house, and our fence was torn up but fixable).
