HAPPY SUNDAY!!! 😊 WHAT ARE YOU IN THE MOOD TO READ? It’s been awhile since I asked what everyone’s reading and sitting and catching up with our book crew after the hurricane, I have a book roll call for us. So if you’re looking for something to read, I bet you I (we) have just what you’re looking for in this list. Fantasy Romance (or “Romantasy”) dominates these days (and on this list, as well) but we have a ton of other tried-and-true must reads from other genres too.

What we’re reading right now… and loving!
What I’m reading right now is “Delicate Condition” and it makes me feel like I’m watching… OMG WAIT!!!!!!! The fact that this season is called “Delicate” means it probably IS the book that inspired this version of the show series. HOLY MOLY MIND BLOWN. 🤯 Lol!
TOTAL FLUKE, I promise. I literally just made the connection right now since I hadn’t really paid attention to what the show series title was called, until now when I looked it up for this blog post. ‘Cause I’m reading this book at the same time as watching the show, and seeing the show characters in my head while I read, I just realized what I’m doing. Reading a book at the same time as watching a series and it’s probably the exact same story.
Bev’s latest TBR (to be read) list… 22 in 2022
I really want to clean out some of the books piling up in my kindle library and so when I saw this prompt of 22 in 22 I thought it could be a simple and fun way to tackle some of it.
I kind of just randomly scrolled through my library and picked what stood out to me, some of these books I can’t even remember the synopsis or why I had to buy it at the time.

Yep! Another fun post inspired by my fabulous book-bud, bev. What a great idea, since yet again, I lose track of all the books I am dying to read each time I download a new one.
bev: Maryse do you hae a current tbr that you are working through? I’ve been making small ones that I can deviate from as my mood changes and then go back to. But I know some people make monthly ones which sounds fun to. I did at the beginning of the year choose 22 books out of my kindle library to read in 2022. I need to actually start them though.
What I’m currently reading… The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue by V.E. Schwab
Tasha J: I finished it. 5 stars. I can’t voice my thoughts or feelings cuz they’ll spoil it, but holy moly do I have them.
Jackie: I just finished The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue on audio and am absolutely blown away. First off, Julia Whelan does an incredible narration. This is not my genre at all, I tend to steer clear of anything referenced as fantasy, so this took me a bit out of my comfort zone. But what a payoff, hands down the best book I’ve read in quite awhile. It’s a story to get immersed in and just so very different, all the stars-or should I say 7 stars (inside Addie LaRue joke).
