Rachel needs our book help! Oh it’s a series, and this one sounds fulfilling (yet angsty!)

She asks:

Hi!!

There’s this book that I read a while back that I was wondering if you can help me find. I read this a few years back. Here’s the basic plot line I remember. I’m pretty sure that it’s a part of a series.

The woman is with her dad and he has a heart attack so she gives him advil and saves his life. He goes to the hospital and they find out he’s very sick. The local doctor gets assigned to him, but the woman is upset because she wants the best doctor in the region so she makes some calls to get that. She ends up offending the doctor because it turns out he is the best doctor for this in the region, and her friends were right when they said to have more faith in him. read more

She asks:

I was wondering if you could help!

I’m looking for a book I read that I’m almost positive was part of a biker romance series.

The heroine has a heart condition and towards the end something happens that sends her out of rhythm. Hero has to do some kind of technique to get it back into rhythm and after that carries around a defibrillator.

Pretty sure he calls the old lady of a biker brother who tells him what to do (so I think she’s a doctor?). read more
