Night Road by Kristin Hannah <— How could I possibly resist? It’s bargain priced, it’s by one of my all time favorite authors, and it’s the #1 book on all of Amazon Kindle. AND… my fellow book buds LOVE it.

Dawn: For my adult friends I have often recommended multiple Kristin Hannah (especially Winter Garden, Night Road, and The Nightingale).

Cindy J: emotional…Night Road by Kristin Hannah. I’m still not over it.  …I’ve read two by Kristin Hannah (Firefly Lane and Night Road) so I think the Nightingale might be on my list too… She is an amazing writer and I was blown away by these two books! read more

This one came as a request on Facebook (thank you Nancy!!), and how could I resist? I LOVE THIS TROPE!!! Nothing better (in angsty-romance-heartachy books!!) than that shocking moment of heartache, after thinking you’ve finally found your forever.

And then the whole pining, and moments of hopefulness to moments of feeling utterly dejected. I always wonder what the HEA will end up looking like. OR IF there will be an HEA at all.

Kaila needs our book help! Eeeeeep! A throw-your-Kindle one for sure, in all directions! I have to know it too, now.

She asks:

I hope you can help. I’m searching for a book about unrequited love.

He’s married or maybe just in a serious relationship and they have a kid together.

Something happens and he gets drunk and has sex with the heroine and doesn’t remember the next day. Then his significant other tells him she’s pregnant again and he goes back to her.

Some time later he finds out that the second baby isn’t his. They have two little girls and I think at some point he was a professional athlete. read more
