Book Review – The Unraveling by Vi Keeland

The Unraveling <— Welp. This one was right up my stalker-loving alley. *ahem* In booooooks!!! Only and always only in books!! I don’t like ’em in real life but boy do I sure love that scary-creep factor of someone obsessed. 😜 When I read the psych-thriller premise of this one, I was all in.

So what’s it about?

I don’t want to say too much, ’cause the blurb is absolutely perfect. It says just enough (and it’s exactly correct) while allowing the reader to experience the reveals as they come, and there are quite a few! read more

Michelle needs our book help! And I LOVE this kind of trope. Reminds me of Sweet Dreams and how the bar owner (Tate!) treated her and what she overheard him say about her. Remember that. ROAR!!!! But boy did that part hook me HARD. And I LOVED that book. P.S. Here’s my review.

Though I don’t think that’s the one she’s looking for, because the heroine in the book she’s looking for is young.

Book Review – The Invitation by Vi Keeland

I ABSOLUTELY LOVED THIS BOOK!!!!! The writing was wonderful, the dialogue was amazing and realistic, and I could truly “see” the characters in real life, and the interactions. It flowed smoothly despite the bumpy ride. OH YES. What a tangled web it weaved and it had a bit of that soap opera drama but the good kind, ya know? I mean… when the reveals hit, THEY HIT BIG!!!

BUT ALSO… HOLY MOLY this book had so much heart. He might be a billionaire… or millionaire (and I haven’t read anything “billionaire-y” in ages) but this Hero was down to earth and so much fun (as well as super grumpy at times – which was also my favorite). Also… his moments of jealousy. YES PLEASE!! I always love when that happens. 😉 read more

Reader Question… Solved! The book about the woman that has to volunteer at the prison teaching in the library…

Okay this reader question has just already been guessed, but the book sounded SO DARN gooooood that I had to post it, in case anyone wanted to read it, too! 😀

Now, at first I was thinking it might be Hard Time by Cara Mckenna (4.5 STAR loved it – she’s a librarian teaching in a prison and falling for an inmate – and here’s my review) but that’s pretty much where things change from Kari’s description.
